Welcome to Al Noori Muslim School
Al Noori Muslim School values excellence. We strive to achieve excellence in all areas – academic, co-curricular, social justice and pastoral care, emotional and spiritual development. Situated in the heart of Greenacre, it has a student population of approximately 1800 students from Kindergarten to Year 12. The school offers a high quality education in a supportive environment where the personal and academic potential of each child is developed equally. The school emphasises the worth of the individual, personal integrity and social responsibility.
Our students learn, not only the NSW Education Standards Authority syllabus, but to feel comfortable within themselves, sure of their strengths and able to work as independent, confident and articulate members of the community. We expect that everyone within and beyond our immediate school community should be treated with respect and dignity. The school values are derived from Islamic principles, which directly correlate with the National Framework: Nine Values for Australian Schooling. Care and Compassion, Doing Your Best, Fair Go, Freedom, Honesty and Trustworthiness, Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Understanding, Tolerance and Inclusion are the values that underpin everything we do.
We are a selective school. We are proud of our reputation for academic excellence and success in external examinations as we are, of the achievements of our students in their many varied and chosen life paths. In the sciences, law, commerce, arts and other professions, you will find Al Noori Muslim School students making a difference and very often leading in their field.
The path ahead for Al Noori Muslim School, and in particular for our students is exciting. Together, with input from all our stakeholders and most importantly the students themselves, we are confident that the future for Al Noori Muslim School will continue to be great.
Al Noori Muslim School continues to provide our students with state-of-the-art schooling facilities, a first class education and an environment conducive to learning. This environment enables our students to become confident, independent and successful members of our community.
Congratulations and thank you to all our Board Members, staff, parents and students for your combined efforts in working together towards achieving a positive and nurturing school culture filled with many great opportunities, experiences and achievements both within and outside the classroom.
